In the year 2017, two assignments for National Geographic and Olympus Spain allowed me to stay in Tokyo, including some small excursions to nearby districts such as Golden Gai with the help of Ricardo Garrido. I worked mainly on photographing the relations of its inhabitants with different pets, as well as the affection that many Japanese feel for the flamenco and some other topics.
But what really caught my attention was the city's varied night offers. In contrast to the rigid social normes of this country in certain events the Japanese adopt really audacious aesthetics.
