India offers myriad flavours mingling in the steam of a country coming of age. Teeming with about 1.40 billion people who voice over a million concerns in fifteen hundred different languages, India is where people live with variety, thrive on diversity and are too familiar with largeness to let it boggle them.

The pictures were taken in March-2013 in Varanasi, Agra and some other places around Rajasthan during the Holi, an ancient Hindu religious festival which has become popular with non-Hindus in many parts of South Asia, as well as people of other communities.
